One year visiting position in Composition and Rhetoric to begin Fall 2009 with possible conversion to tenure-track to follow, depending upon applicant’s qualifications. Advanced degree status (PhD or ABD) in Rhetoric and Composition or English preferred; successful teaching experience is essential. Teaching load is three classes per semester and will include Introduction to Rhetorical Theory, History and Theory of Rhetoric, and first-year composition. Depending upon expertise, candidate may teach an upper-level course in rhetorical studies or a nonfiction genre.
