The African American Studies Program and the Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program (FGSS) at Wesleyan University invite applications for a full-time, one-year visiting social science faculty position in race, gender and sexuality studies, beginning August 2009. PhD in hand or near completion; teaching experience is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will teach two courses in the Fall and two in the Spring semester; it is likely that the candidate will also supervise some senior research projects. One of the Fall courses will be an introductory-level course that will serve as a gateway requirement for the FGSS major. The salary is competitive and will include benefits.
