Description and Responsibilities: The Department of History and American Studies invites applications for a one-year visiting position in American Studies and/or United States social/cultural history for the 2009-2010 academic year. Primary responsibilities include teaching introductory and upper level course in American Studies and United States History. Qualifications: Ph.D. or ABD in American Studies or United States social/cultural history is preferred. Demonstrated evidence of teaching excellence is required.
