JAPANESE HISTORY
The University of Kentucky invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in Japanese History. Research and chronological fields are open. However, the candidate will be expected to teach courses on the history of Japanese visual culture and media studies and should be capable of teaching the two-semester East Asia survey. Teaching responsibilities include two courses per semester. The candidate is also expected to play an active role in the vibrant, and growing, Asia Studies programs at the University of Kentucky. Ph.D. required by Fall 2009.
