The Cornell University Department of History seeks a historian of the United States in the twentieth century. The appointment will be full-time, tenure-track, at the assistant-professor level, and begin in Fall 2009. Applicants must be strong in both research and teaching and have the Ph.D. in hand by Fall 2009. We particularly invite applications from women and members of underrepresented minority groups.
